Easy. Name 1, pick 1 and watch it. Can be a classic, and indie movie, a short film or your favorite movie.

I really think that everyone should watch Fight Club. A life-changing film.

Now its YOUR turn.

Everyone should watch "The Haunting" from 1963.
One of the most influential classic horror movies.

The one I would name is to well known and seen for me to name and the others are all on the same tier just below it so I am going to name four that may not be as well known as some other and I haven't seen mentioned yet.

We Were Soldiers
The Illusionist
Outlander (With Jim Caviezel, Futuristic soldier lands on Viking age earth)
Wolfhound (Lord of the Rings Barbarian style)

A dark musical about revenge:
Sweeney Todd

EDIT: Pretty much most of Tim Burton's movies, they have a sort of "losing innocence" vibe.

Good choices, Brick was a film I didn't expect much out of and was pleasantly surprised.

Peter O'Toole is amazing. If you liked that, I'll recommend Becket and the Lion in Winter. Try to watch them in that order, too.

I actually really liked the movie, even though I gave up on the book after a few chapters.(Assuming you mean the one based on the Cormac Macarthy book:)

I'd like to recommend a Hungarian movie: The Witness http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0065067/ It's a satire about the Stalinist dictatorship in Hungary in the 1950s. Perfect writing, perfect direction, perfect acting.

Short Circuit, a not so bad movie if you enjoy 80's movies. It's the story of a little robot discovering humanity.

Chappie stole everything from this one.

Have you looked upon him as a great singer yet too? If not, then check out 30 Seconds To Mars, a band in wich he partakes in with the main vocals.

Also, Suicide Squad is coming soon too, and him as The Joker is something to be eagerly awaited for.

Took me a while to think something up, 'cause I've seen far too many movies for my own good, but here. I recommend Blazing Saddles. One of my favorite comedies. It's absurd as fuck.

Now I need to find myself something to watch. Problem is that I've either seen most of these already, or do not have access to it. Eh. Nothing wrong with a repeat viewing of a classic.
