I really recommend reading through the FAQ and Guidelines carefully (yes, it's long and a bit boring, but if you don't read it you risk getting banned, which would leave a sour taste in your mouth about the website).

The repayment for giving away games is friendship and personal happiness, for me at least. And the knowledge that I am hopefully brightening someone's day or making them happy ... helping them get a game they want .. showing human kindness.
In other words, my "repayment" is feeling happy because I love helping others and seeing them happy.
I struggle with finances, but at the same time, people here and outside in my life have shown me so much compassion and support that I want to "pay-it-forward" and give back to a community that is so dear to me. One cannot just take and not give something in return.
