Orange box

I kind of randomly got the orange box as a gift, when I was talking to a person I hadn't in a looong while about Team Fortress 2. <3 I've had a steam account for a while before that, but no games, it was pretty magical.

Half Life 3.

Deus Ex 1 and 2 pack.

Prince of Persia trilogy. Interestingly enough, I haven't finished any of them yet. Got carried away with other games on sale that holiday, such as Audiosurf, Portal and Beyond Good & Evil. Before then I was just using Steam to play demos and the free version of Trackmania.

Half-Life 2 in the late 2004. Back then it was only a list of games with auto-update feature and a server list. I still got my box of HL2 with 5CD's and remember pretty well that painful installation process, that took over 2 hours.

I got my steam account when they were giving portal for free, its been growing ever since.

My dad bought me audiosurf when it came out. It was the first time I'd heard of steam.

I think it was TF2 when it wasn't f2p...it's funny because I no longer play it.

Terraria. :P THe reason why I started with steam. A good choice!
