In a near future being named after a video game character will probably be common, like names after a book heroes. And Tali is a nice name. But Tali'Zorah... well, it may be difficult for her growing up with such name, apostrophe and problematic spelling.
But there's a chance she'll grow up to love both the character and name.

well it was an excelent game. And I don't see anything bad in choose a name from a game to ur kid/pet or even home. But that's just me maybe...'Cause I'm pretty sure that my parents Goro and Sheeva will let me name my kid Yoshimitsu :-"

For every ten that will pick on that kid for her name, 100 won't know/care, and at least one will love her for it. It's original, it sounds like something her parents shared as a great memory. I'm fine with it. Kids, being age zero, rarely have a say in their own name -- for better or worse. Not one name is ever truly safe -- you could be named after a person in the Bible and then people all of a sudden associate you with some Skywalker character.

I think its a pretty name to be honest, unique also, I see no problems here.

Names have got to come from some where and it's not like it's a terrible name or anything. So I say let them do it.

I probably wouldn't name my child, if I'm ever going to have one, like that... But it's quite different here I think. I would prefer some good traditional name, which isn't too common at the moment. I mean, it's not that good to have 3 kids with same name in class...

Tali is acceptable, but Tali'Zorah? That's going too far. Think of all the shit she's going to get at school. The ultra nerdy parents need to grow up and realise this is real life, not a video game.
