Hello! I submmited a request today to EA...for give my copyrights for my gampleys i want make....is any possibility to get it? because i read this message:

EA is not able to provide a blanket permission to use our copyrighted game footage. We have previously advised YouTube that EA generally does not object to fair uses of video footage or screen shots from publicly released versions of our copyrighted games, including on YouTube channels which are commercialized, but that we reserve rights to address inappropriate use of our copyrighted content. We will continue to advise YouTube directly of that position.

Also i want to moniteze with adsense, and put a link in description to my store, also i will contact Steam soon for same question...

Anyone know how can get Copyrights? :D I can directly, or need affiliate with one Network like machinima?

Also i obtain Resell Rights LOL cool...Now i can sell games legally on eBay! :) and 5 15% off cupons code..because i am valuable client =))

What? Is this a new thing?

I don't remember anything about needing any approval before posting video games-related videos on Youtube.

Yes, is true you don't need, if you upload videos without adsense monitization, and if EA don't report you for Copyrights! :) If they report, your account can be banned.....and many more can happening...if you make money from Copyrights material,..abusively is a INFRACTION!

Legally, you dont need to since it falls under fair-use, however, in practice you need to since it appears most companies target things like lets plays and even reviews under BS DMCA claims.

I'm sure it's possible, but not unless you actually have made a notable name for yourself. They're not going to reply to every random youtuber trying to make a few cents from uploading random videos of gameplay footage. They will more than likely want royalties in return for your access to copyright, so if you're not worth their time, I can't imagine they'll be interested.

But if you've emailed them already then I'm not sure what you're expecting to gain from here. Just wait for them to respond and find out for yourself.

Origin have nothing to do with it, if you want to profit from EA's products via adsense, you need EA's approval. No one here can tell you anything otherwise. If you have a large enough following on youtube then it's possible that may happen, but again, you're just going to have to wait for a response from EA.

Under Fair Use they can post any gameplay they want. If they're actually profiting from it, then they either have a partnership or have direct rights from the publisher.

You don't need permission from anyone, if you want to post a gameplay video, since it falls under fair-use. Most companies let people do it, cause every video is free advertisement. Companies like Nintendo, are greedy as f*ck, and they want to see money from it. I liked how YouTube tagged all of my KickBeat videos, for playing copyrighted music (which is in the game itself), I try to remove those claims (hell I don't even monetize my videos), but YT keeps rejecting them. Also, if I heard right, and you are in Romania, you'd need millions of subscribers to get that much money, you are aiming for. And even if you try to be a YouTuber, please don't copy PewDiePie. We have enough like him. He over-reacts the games he play, and if you look at the face cam, you'll see that he doesn't even try to look scared. I can see these things, cause I'm a student-actor, and I have a few years experience in acting. Whatever you do, don't act. Just be yourself. You can be silly, but don't overreact things.

His content won't fall under fair use because he's seeking to profit directly from it via his own ads.

By the sounds of that you can use some stuff but they will always hold the rights to their stuff & to me that sounds just fine they should hold the rights to their stuff (that doesn't mean they should act like a dick about it though)

YouTube is very strict on copyright issues. I couldn't even monetize my own music production made for a contest, because it was a remix of the League of Legends theme. Here is the link if you are interested: https://youtu.be/KcmDVQF_Ejs

Which is stupid because pretty much all the stuff that's getting DMCAed is legit content and falls under fair-use. Nintendo being the worse of this all.

EA appreciates the passion that players have for our games, and we’re always excited to see the creativity that comes out of our community. EA doesn’t object to fair uses of video footage or screen shots from publicly released versions of our games, including on YouTube channels which are commercialized. We do reserve the right to address any inappropriate use of our content. Additionally, because of the large volume of inquiries we get from the community on videos, we aren’t able to grant specific approvals or respond to all follow up inquiries. Thanks, and have fun!

I am glad, is this a YES?! I thinks YES! :)

I'm assuming for a moment here that you are not outright trolling, but that you are simply not a native speaker of the english language.

Before bothering with the legal intricacies of copyright regulations. You may want to take a basic lesson in english.
It should go a long way in understanding the correct definitions.
Now that we've gotten that out of the way:

No, EA will never give you COPYRIGHT to their intellectual properties. As this would basicly make it so that you own it.
What (theoretically) could happen is that they permit you to make transformative video content using their IPs - in the form of "Lets Play" videos or other transformative content.
There are also cases where fair use applies, which is when you use such content to inform or educate, or even in some cases when used as parody.

That however is distinctly different from granting copyright. EA as the holder of the licence will always retain the final say in what is allowed to be done with their content (within the confines of the law).
It is also worth noting that EA (like many other video game developers and publishers) will occasionally overlook content even though it technically infringes on the copyright (and isn't covered by regulations such as fair use).
This happens either because the content is so insignificant that they simply have not come across it or because of any number of other reasons.
But do note that just because they have not taken action against your video yet (or those of other people), does not mean that they will not do so in the future.

Finally, as you have already discovered yourself. EA has certain statements out there permitting a variety of content to be made under certain restrictions. Other publishers and development studios have done the same. It is however crucial that you keep copyright regulations in mind.
Just because [EA] says you are allowed to make a video of one of their games and even earn advertising revenue off of it, does not mean that the music within that game is in the clear.
Many games use licenced music, and the copyright holders of that music will be more than happy to claim your videos even if the developer or publisher has given you permission to make the video.

Which is why you see many youtube personalities make their videos without in-game music.

Again though, the intricate nature of legal matters can be somewhat difficult to wrap your head around even if you are fluent and a native english speaker.
Assuming you do not want to risk your youtube channel/account, always err on the side of caution. Don't take unnecessary risks thinking that you are in the clear. Always double and triple check and make sure that you know the information you found is correct and means what you think it means.
