I've played Bastion and Psychonauts, Bastion's narrative-style was nice but I personally would have enjoyed it more if the characters had their own voices. I prefer DD to Orcs Must Die, maybe because it's multiplayer.
Will try out Limbo and Fallout one day.

Machinarium and Bulletstorm come to mind right off the bat. Killing Floor, left4dead series, and Serious Sam series are also really fun. Painkiller: Black Edition also fun. Gah, 5/6 of those are FPS's. Mind is drawing a blank on the other categories. I'll see if I can remember any more later.

"Bioshock - Was fun, but a little too scary for my liking, especially when playing at night. Yes I'm a wimp." Try Amnesia. You'll love it.
On a serious note, going off of the Hard Reset 'a little too short' comment and the CSS comment, I'll recommend any Serious Sam game except for Serious Sam 2. They're all phenomenal shooters, and kind of have the feel of what you would get from Hard Reset, but lengthened, and with a good deal of variety.

Stupid question, but have you played the first Deus Ex? Human Revolution was more or less the same game, but ten years later in real-world time. It's pretty much my favorite game of all time, and if you liked the only sequel that is worthy of the Deus Ex name, you'll probably like the first. Unless you can't get past the flat land full of square-faced people, that is.
I have M&M VI, but I haven't bothered to install it. I still play III, though, and it's currently installed on my rig. You may want to play that if you want a trip down nostalgia road, because it's entertaining (if not simplistic, it does show its age.)
I'm going to go a step further and make some game suggestions that are in the "Sort of like X, but also kind of Y" department, since those are always useful: Fable (and I mean 1, maybe 2) was an entertaining third-person RPG, which may or may not be on Steam at the moment. The third game was dumbed down for the WoW crowd, though, so I'd further suggest Kingdoms of Amalur if you go that route, which feels like a slightly more modern Fable with the ability to roll girls. (yay) If you enjoyed Mafia, then there's The Godfather, which may or may not float your boat, or even Scarface. Both were fine games, both kind of flew under the GTA-influenced radar. As for Monkey Island, you should very clearly be playing classic Sierra point-and-clicks, like King's Quest and Space Quest, which I grew up on as well. Maybe Quest for Glory, namely III and maybe IV, possibly I and II if you have the patience for games with parsers. They're not as comedy-based, though; for that, Sam and Max or Full Throttle. Lucasarts, yay! Also, Grim Fandango.
I'm just scraping the top of my jaded gamer brain. To echo earlier suggestions, LA Noire has excellent, creepy facial animations and you should try it, and it actually feels like you're doing detective work and not being led by the nose. Left4Dead is great for spree-killing and trying to get four assholes to work together. Psychonauts was a very fun and quirky/funny romp. KOTOR and KOTOR II are still my favorite Bioware RPGs. Jedi Outcast II/Jedi Academy have the best lightsaber dueling system I've seen in a Star Wars game, and I played them long after I should have.
I have to stop now, because I could write about games forever.

Deus Ex GOTY and KOTOR is definitely on my list of games to play, I don't really mind outdated graphics. Might take a look at Fable as well as the other titles you mentioned.
I have Psychonauts and Grim Fandango, they were great. I've tried King's Quest before too, but it wasn't to my fancy unfortunately.
Thanks for the suggestions! You can write about games forever, I won't mind :P

You're welcome! Just ignore the guy below this post who compared Invisible War to Human Revolution. That's the only favor I ask in return.
Also, King's Quest sure was full of bullshit. "Oh, I had to throw the shoe at the rat. Wait, that's a huge chunk of time before I get caught. You mean I have to reload my save from-...FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-" Good ol' nostalgia.

Good Christ, no. It's amazing how I wax nostalgic about all these games I played when I was younger, and in the back of my head, I go "Holy shit I will never touch that game again." King's Quest is pretty much the reason for that. At least Space Quest was hilarious enough to keep me engaged. (SQIV was brutal, though.)
Also, I never realized the AI in Dune II cheated as much as it did. I could only order one troop at a time! It could order them ALL around! Shucks.

I've heard good stuff about Chaos Theory, I'll probably try it out. Maybe Thief too. If I do play Assassin's Creed, I'm probably just going to try the first couple.
Hmm Legend of Dragoon... I might have played that years ago. Can't remember.

Hey guys, I need a little help. I'm going to give some short reviews of a few games I've played, and I'm hoping that the community can recommend me some games that you think I might like based on my likes/dislikes.
Sad to say, there isn't a hidden giveaway (you're welcome for Skyrim) and neither will there be any prizes. Here goes!
Batman AA - Absolutely loved it, but I wish it were a little longer (challenges don't count). Last boss fight wasn't very impressive though.
CS:S - For some reason I prefer this to TF2, as awesome as TF2 is. Probably because CS1.6 was a big part of my early gaming life.
Diablo 2 - Loved it until hacked items started flodding the market.
Titan's Quest: Immortal Throne - This is probably one of the few games I regret buying. I was hoping it would be a good D2 clone, but it was horrible. Story and monsters were dull, bosses were ridiculously hard, maps were boring and frustrating.
Might and Magic VI: Mandate of Heaven - Loved every bit of it.
Deus Ex: HR - I've replayed this game 3 times already lol, and it's still fun everytime. Story is great. Made me try out Hitman 2 but...
Hitman 2: SA - People say I should have gone with Blood Money, and I think they are right. Though I think this is still pretty good for a 2002 game.
Mafia - Loved it. Mafia 2, not so much.
Hard Reset - Too short to be able to enjoy this game fully. It's pretty much just lots of mobs coming at you all the time.
Half-Life series - Who doesn't love HL?
Bioshock - Was fun, but a little too scary for my liking, especially when playing at night. Yes I'm a wimp.
Monkey Island series - Grew up playing these. Played MI2 when it came in those huge diskette thingies. Was what made me an Adventure game fan.
Sonic Generations - I have to say, as a long-time Sonic fan, this kind of disappointed me a little. It's beautiful and all, but the gameplay and controls are a little clunky, and it's hard as hell. All I do is pretty much die, purchase 1-ups, and then die some more. That took out quite a bit of the fun.
Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy - JRPGs, always awesome.
Well that's it for now, I think I covered quite a bit of genres. I've got some games in my wishlist too that I'm going to try out some day, if anyone could take a look at that and let me know if I'm going in the right direction, that would be great too!
