Usually about 10 minutes into a map it will just freeze and then blue screen. I havent acutally tried since the last update though so it could be fixed:)

If your getting Blue Screens of Deaths, it's almost certainly not because of the game. They are most often caused by A) drivers or B) hardware errors (overheating, lacking power supply, corrupted RAM, overclocking, etc.).

Yeah I know RAM and such is usually the culprit but it doesn't seem to happen with other games. I'll need to investigate further!

I had the same problem. Blue screens, lockups and crashes with some games and not others. Turns out it was an outdated Ethernet controller driver (of all things). I never thought to update that! Worth a look anyways :D

I know everyone here keeps saying its NOT the game. Being so confident that it isn't the game is quite foolish.

OMD2 has crashed on my son's PC and my PC regulary. We have OMD1 and it never crashed. Problems we get ON BOTH PC's:

Latency problems over the LAN where the game freezes and threatens to drop us.
Outright crashes to desktop.
Weird graphic effects that are un-intended such as the shotgun in hand is held sideways all the time, weird rays of light out of the alt-fire shotgun bomb, etc.

So, don't tell me its the hardware when none of this happened in OMD1.

The confidence about it being driver/hardware related comes from him getting BSODs. If the game just crashes to desktop, that's one thing... but it's just very unlikely that software itself (not counting drivers of course) would cause BSODs.

Unless you have a friend , you will get bored of OMD2 very soon. Torchlight 2 is just an amazing game and I already have some 14 hours into it. I would suggest Torchlight 2, even after you finish it with one class, there are 3 more classes to try.
