Can your friend cop pull strings to find your phone location ? That should be easy to do for a cop that has will and access to tools.
Also if you had Android, you can log in to your Google account, go to your devices and see last known location of device.

I believe that you can easily return all your things if you have a willing cop to help.

Holy shit I'm sorry man :( At least you are physically okay so far, that's the most important thing. I mean they hit you which makes me so angry but you're not dead right..

In my life, I got the following things stolen:

• My phone (wasnt too important since I had my data backedup but at the time it was expensive even if now it's worthless (wasnt a smartphone). Happened on the day that I was extremely drunken for the first time, so no surprise)
• Money (in the hospital!!! My dad came and gave me my pocket money when I was staying at the hospital for an extended time and I didn't have a wallet with me, so I put it in the wardrobe between my clothes.. Went outside, come back and the money is gone -.-)
• Cans of beer from a tent that we used as a storage for foods etc. at a festival, lol
• My pokémon sticker album in the kinder-fucking-garten.. Like wtf we all had our drawers there and some of the kids really thinks about stealing?? I was crying all day haha and the next day I got it back because the mother of the kid who stole it brought it back there..

I'm wandering around with this constant fear of losing something or being robbed, thanks to everyone who took something from me. Good thing is nothing disappeared for a long time now (I mean okay the beer but whatever, I get so much stuff for free at festivals it really doesnt matter and the thiefs stayed away from our sleeping tent :D). The major shock was my phone and that's some 8 years ago.

Wow that sounds terrible. Glad you didn't get too badly injured. Hopefully the thieves meet up with karma.
