And that's not needy, they're just really loving when you gain their trust, meanwhile dogs freak out if you leave them alone for 20 minutes. I like dogs too but calm down you guys :P. Now regarding the kitties let me tell you my sole experience of having cats in the family. Well my grandpa had a cat, nursed him for almost 8 months but the bastard crazy fur ball ran away from food, shelter and a loving home a couple of weeks ago.
Crazy enough he got yesterday another cat and he wants to give him the same name to feel like the other bastard cat never ran away. Apparently this new cat is way more friendly and likes to get peted and is good around people, as opposed to the runaway bastard cat (the new one is 4 months old, the other was 1 month when he got to my gramps home).
I will wait to meet him to pass judgement to his whole feline race I guess, but so far I am disappointed at them :(
PS: my grandpa even got the runaway bastard cat neutered in hopes he didn't ran away, but alas, he did anyway (the operation was a week before he ran away tho, so he was still hormonal)
