Thanks anyway for doing this again, Happy Holidays!

Thank you, I try to be authentic. It's the little details that makes every profile pictures unique, and even though I suspect many might miss some of the smaller details, in the end I hope that by doing so it'll improve the images nevertheless. ^^

You are very creative! ;) I wonder, is it just your hobby or are you professional artist? If you don't mind me asking. ;)
As I am checking more and more pictures that were improved by you I would like to join this Christmasifying event too. :3
But I think that my pic is not very much suitable for this. ;) So don't mind me. X)
Enjoy your game!! :)

Far from professional, actually. Most of my experience is built up from these kind of threads I host on Steamgifts, aside from that I rarely mess around photo manipulation (but I did edit gifs in the past too and still occasionally do). I think it kinda helps that I've used the same old software for years so I know the in and out of it, even if it's really limited by today's standards (I should learn actual Photoshop one of these days...)
And sure, feel free to request - it's better if you can post your request as a new comment to make sure I don't miss it though. ^^

Even more an amazing work! I don't even know how properly use the simple drawing. X) Most of yours pictures looks like an originals, like it always belonged there. ;)
Okay, I will stop stalking.... eh... admiring you for now! :3
Have a great early weekend. ;)

Well, to be fair, most of it is simple image manipulation (resize, position, re-colourize/contrast/brightness, then a few strokes of lightness up/down brush etc) - I actually am very bad with actual painting/drawing, be it digital or traditional.
One thing that helps a lot as well is how tiny profile pictures are, I can make mistakes and nobody will even notice. Working on HD images is a nightmare.
And please, don't be under the impression you're distracting me from my "work" or anything - I love to discuss! It's nice to have notifications that aren't just Christmasify requests or thread bumps for once. :D

Simple! I think it's not that simple how you try it sound like. XD I am sure that if I would try something like that it would end with catastrophe. XD
I meant more like windows program drawing than actual drawing, as I can hardly draw by hand. Digital drawing is beyond my imagination and capabilities. ^^
Many years ago I used to make my own wallpapers and I think they were pretty good, but hen I lost every one of them. Well, I still have them, but they are corrupted and can't be opened. So I stopped doing it as I still suffer from the lost. XD
Okay. :3

Aww, my sister (she's a digital/traditional artist) had the same thing happen to her computer. Luckily, she had most of her best work uploaded on Deviantart so it wasn't a complete loss... but still. Digital data is really unreliable without a trusted backup (preferably cloud-based rather than local).

I can feel the pain. o_o
I am not sure that when it happened to me there was possible digital backup.... hmmm. o.O I just burned it on CD and then on DVD. XD
But I missed my chance with those pics. Still I find myself playing with the thoughts of re-doing them... but then I got afraid of the outcome, you know before I could have said "I was just a child, so it's actually pretty good", but if I screw it now it would be just terrible. XD

Ladies, gentlemen, welcome to the fourth installment of the (un)Official Profile Christmasifying Thread!
The (un)Official Profile Christmasifying Thread 2018
Another year has come to pass, and the holidays are onto us, creeping closer with every day's passing. 2018 will soon be but a date in the past as 2019 takes the reins of time and carries us through another year of surprises. What does 2019 have in store for us, no one knows for sure, but here's to a great year 2018 and to an even better 2019.
But I digress - with the year end approaching, so does the holidays. Whichever holiday you celebrate during the month of December/early January, rare are those who can say that "Santa hats", snow, gifts, lights and various other decorations do not come to mind. In the spirit of the holidays, I will be once again this year accepting requests to "Christmasify" the Steamgifts community's profile pictures, be it a Santa hat (which will most likely be the case), or maybe a little extra like snow or other decorations.
If you have been around the past four years, you know how this works. For the new peeps around, welcome! Read on for details on what the heck this thread is about, and if you're interested, how to participate.
All talk and no action - Will you just tell us what this is?
It's quite simple. All you have to do is request a "Christmasification" in the comments below. I will then periodically go through requests, pick up a few, decorate your profile picture with a Santa hat, snow, or other decorations (I might even add a beard upon request, if within my abilities), and then give them to you by replying to your request.
Important details to keep in mind:
With that said... the thread is now officially open to requests. Cheers! ^^
Don't forget to sync your account after changing to your new profile picture for it to show up on Steamgifts!
