Deus Ex: Mankind Divided was the best for far i did not play the Mankind Divided yet

I did it. I voted for Invisible War.

I got into the series with the PS2 release, found it fun, even still have my copy. Only game in the series I finished other than The Fall.

I thought the first one is the one wich more different gameplay choices

Mankind Divided could have been good game, but the whole thing felt like 20% of a much big game.

Original Deus Ex was the best one but as itr's the old game it's obvious it's not so advanced as modern titles. Nonetheless was probably one of the most important games for the genre ever, so for me it's Deus Ex > Human Revolution > MAnkind Divided > Missing Link >Everything else is worthless trash ;p

System Shock 2

I remember playing the first one and getting really surprised how good it was (I hadn't read anything about the game, my friend just recommended it because he knew that I'm huge fan of Cyber punk genre and delve in conspiracy theories from time to time lol). Got it from a friend for couple of weeks, played it through couple of times and then bought it myself 5-6 months later :) I really recommend Deus Ex: Revision mod for the original one. I do like the Human Revolution too and I own the Mankind Divided and the Fall though I haven't played either one yet.

Human Revolution for me.

Haven't played the latest iteration but from the ones I played, the original Deus Ex is by far the best.

And it's not nostalgia speaking. I replayed Deus Ex after playing Human Revolution and although this one is also a good game, it pales in comparison.

You know what? I think I liked the original Deus Ex the best :) Followed by Human Revolution and Deus Ex Go :)

It's a hard choice for me between the original and Human Revolution, I loved Human Revolution (think I completed it three or four times) but I'd say the original just wins for being so ground breaking. I keep meaning to try the Revision mod (I've had it installed for ages). Also, I absolutely hated that last level in HR.

Mankind Divided was the biggest disappointment of the last few years for me, and part of the reason I've promised myself never to preorder again...

The original. DX3 was a good revival of the formula, but it felt the call of times and it was pretty consolified with its large objective markers, automatic health regen, checkpoint system, and simplified controls.
I have just started playing DX4 today, so far it is a somewhat more watered-down DX3, but nothing particularly bad apart from its ridiculous hardware requirement.

By the way, DX1 and DX1: The Conspiracy are (largely) the same game, the latter is simply the title of the console port.

Also, if we talk about the series, you may consider the Icarus Effect part of that. After all, The Fall is its direct sequel. (Not like I expect anyone ever voting on that novel.)

The Conspiracy doesn't belong on that poll as it's just the subtitle for the PS2 version of the original Deus EX.

Also, Missing Link doesn't belong there as it's just the DLC/addon for Human Revolution.

So one is re-titled and the other can't even be played without the original game.

The first one... I just played the first one '-'

DX1 and System Shock 2 were both masterpieces that showed how you can combine RPG + shooter elements and also support different playstyles / ways to complete your missions. On the other hand, HR added so much "polish" (although the boss fights initially were kind of lame) to the series, that I am torn what to pick here: graphics that still look good after 6 years, believable hubs, lots of lore (including a youtube campaign) and the warm thought through Renaissance theme.

Original one, of course (nowadays I recommend playing it with Revision mod, available on steam), although Human Revolution was really great in capturing what the first game was about. Maknind Divided sadly failed to live to hype and I doubt we'll get another DX game soon. Shame.

tried the fall for 20-30 minutes, got bored and annoyed with the mechanics.

Graphics aside, the original Deus Ex craps on the rest of the series put together.

(Although I list DX:IW last there, I'm definitely not of the common opinion that it's awful. It's really very... not bad. Not amazing, not great, but definitely not bad, and possibly even good.)
