I have the game. And won the DLC in a group contest :D The game is the same ol' modern warfare, nothing much different. But the DLC adds some pretty nice maps and missions.

Get it for 360 or PS3 for local coop.

If you want to play a spectacular story go ahead (to understand the story buy MW1 and MW2 or just watch the whole campaign on youtube). But if you want only to play multiplayer (like 12 old kids who bought the game just for the multiplayer) well don't buy it if you haven't got a decent internet connection. Or you do like me... I mute all, edit my config so that i can find games under a 125 ping and I remove the chat. (if you want to play with friends, use the voice chat of Steam or Teamspeak).
(remember you see more kids screaming on Xbox360 and ps3 than on pc.)

Well, it's a bad game compared to the previous ones(Black Ops was a lot better than MW3, so were W@W and MW2). If you want a first-person shooter filled with action, you don't get Call of Duty, you get Serious Sam! So no, don't.. it was a disappointing game.

But if you are in other regions dont bother, lag is horrible due to matchmaking.

No. In my opinion MW2 is better, especially if you like sniping. MW3 is completely unfriendly to snipers.
