No, they tried to trademark the entire concept of react videos.
Hence the hate.

They tried to trademark the word "react"
the north internet will never forget

exactly, the extreme backlash and over 300.000 subscribers lost made them "apologise" and backtrack even on the trademark

"we are sorry we got caught"
They are scared to lose their sponsor, that would hurt hard.

they even deleted the original react world video. They won't lose much, they still have almost 14 million subscribers :I

Well if you see people are hating on them, listen to those people & find out why.
As far as I know, "Fine bros" have been trying to copyright simple terms like "React" & then go around flagging any video containing these terms or subject materials so they are pulled offline.
They are also trying to setup a system to allow people to use these terms & materials but under their own authority. In doing so, they intend to make money off other peoples videos.
Edit: oo boy, I hit submit when I thought I was the first poster & already see people posting for ya :)

I'm unsure of that & don't know this channel you mentioned(Doesn't sound like something I'd be interested in).
I haven't gone around to read about this anywhere. I found out about it from people I've subbed to in youtube. BTW, if you're looking for a laugh, here is a mega64 parody video for it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CRYnOPJiTaA
Also, I'm not going to waste my time digging it up. But I could've swore I first seen those type of react video in Japan youtube many years ago. Either way, don't listen to fine bros if they say they come up with it first. It's all been done before & we only repeat or revise ideas these days.

Even in that, Sony tried it first, only then came these copycats

Didn't know they caused a shitstorm.
Do know that they were the first to have some success with reaction vids, and that's I find the whole concept of reaction vids stupid to the point where if I see two random people pulling faces with a title slapped in between I immediately ignore it...

Well the situation is similar to when the devs of Candy Crush Saga tried to trademark Candy and Saga, and when Sony tried to trademark Let's Play

Hey guys! I don't ever watch the Fine Bros on YouTube but I have noticed that a lot of people are hating on them right now. Why is that? Also, I saw a certain channel among the many articles I read called I Hate Everything. Are they the same channel? Shedding some light on this would really help my curiosity settle. Thanks!
