As someone who has no idea what Zelda is about. I always thought the main character was a girl.
But then I found out he is called Link and its a guy!!
And after seeing the comments here, I now know that Zelda is supposed to be a person.

would love to play a full game from her point where you end up doing a ton of side quests and defeating bad guys to help link, but you cant do the main hero of time things.
