nope, i've never thought like this, but it's interesting that there are traders who do
it would be cool to be one of those LEGENDS to somebody xD
you have a fair amount of rep, and i've seen you around on steamtrades.. maybe you are one to someone :D

What if that person turned out to be a scammer? Would they still go on your legend list?

i traided wit u :)
I actually still remember that trade, not simply because you were involved :P but because I got Dishonored, currently one of my favourite games which back then was my one of the games I really wanted. What's funny is that I started out trading with a list of about five games (Dishonored being the ultimate goal that I thought I had little to no chance of getting) that I had been set on getting and decided that I would stop trading after aquiring them, but that's not quite how it turned out (I did get those games, and plenty more, oh so much more). :P

I've never had an inclination to do that :/ Of course, I rarely trade so I wouldn't be the best judge of character :D

Never really thought about that. I might have said to myself a couple time that it would be nice to trade with someone specific for that +1 rep from them, but I do not obsess over it the way you seem to do. (I certainly don't specifically seek out those people when looking for something I want. Only the best deal I can get from the most reputable seller that's currently online.)

I only just started the trading thing and to be honest, I'm mostly sticking to the people I've already traded with once, just because I know I can trust them. Which I realize isn't very good for collecting a lot of positive rep, but oh well. I didn't realize there were trading 'legends' out there. I have to admit I'm curious now though, who are the 'legends'?

I can't say I've ever targeted specific people to trade with, but I do get a happy, childish little "Hey, I recognize that guy" feeling for a second when I stumble upon a post on here or ST, or a rep from someone that I've traded with before while looking at someone's rep.
Fun fact: You and I traded about a month ago.

Is it just me or does everyone have trading "people goals"? For example, I really want to trade with certain people.. I would comment on their thread, but it would never be a good enough offer. So, they end up on the list of "PEOPLE I WANT TO TRADE WITH!" I have gotten a few of those people checked off my list, but in my mind they are like.. LEGENDS. i would get so excited if they actually accepted my offers, especially if they had turned down a bunch of people before them. I would usually browse other peoples reps and i would do a little "GASP! THEY HAVE LESS REP THAN ME, BUT THEY GOT ONE OF THE LEGENDS!!!!!" kinda thing.
This is silly i know, but is this just me?
