Yes, It's the GPU that is the problem. It doesn't overheat, it is related to Physix :\

Check your memory (RAM and Video RAM).
Years back, WoW would crash on me (the only game out of 3~5 I played at that time), and it turned out it was my RAM. Then about 3 years ago another game would give me artifacts for a second before I got a BSOD or lockup and it turned out to be bad Video RAM.
MemTest86+ or MemTest86 for RAM
BurnInTest for Video RAM

I had an issue with physx where a game actually downgraded it upon install. I removed it went to nvidias site and reinstalled and that worked for me. it wasn't these games but might be the same kind of problem.

I already have the latest Physix, but I'll double-check

my sis had the a similar issue when installing and playing Adams Venture. It would install this nvidia physix (she has an ati card tho) but everytime she tried to start the game it crashed straight away. I ended up installing the newest graphics driver and the newest directX and it worked after that. Dunno if that'll help you at all tho, I just saw physix and thought I'd share my own experience with it :P

I have a problem with both Borderlands and Unreal Tournament 3, because both run Physix for NVIDIA. When running the games, after 5 minutes (UT) and entering a vehicle (BD), my Pc freezes and does not stop until I shut it down manually.
Before going into a thorough search, I might as well ask if someone has been through this, and if so, how did you solved it.
