Noone actually bothered with the ads between giveaways now? Bit too much in the face really

The middle ones are really annoying

nobody likes ads but for me it's subtle enough that i don't mind.
and it's gaming related so no ads for online casinos, hentai browser games or penix enlargement pills.

It'd be better if there were a few ads just for the Patreon. There'd be more to benefit and it'd be direct support.

Though I wonder what the current Patreon income is. Is this for profit or is this to just maintain the website.

i don't mind them. i greatly appreciate this website and i used to give some money via patreon. since i can't afford to do that anymore, i whitelisted sg from my ad blockers. this is literally the only site i've ever whitelisted.
if the ads in between giveaways are bothersome, you should be able to use ublock to single them out.

I guess I'm just moderately annoyed by them but not enough to bother manually blocking them, at least they're for Fanatical and not some weird shit.

2 ads between giveaways and 1 in the side bar are enough for me. They do not move, they do not blink or flash.
The bottom one I almost never see it. If it keeps the site running, I am more than happy. If it gives CG some extra cash to live his life as a normal human being, even better.

For me the line is when adds are big and flashy... Like basically 90% of adds you get on other sites. Some stupid ass gambling and scam sites.
While we don't get that sort I personally don't mind much.

The ones in-between giveaways maybe a little bit. At the bottom and at the side I don't mind, but if I had to vote I'd say get rid of the ones in the middle. Banners are always annoying.

I generally use the unofficial mobile app.

Normaly i looked away and not thought much about it but yesterday was my limit reached with the 2 ads between the GAs.
I had, alone in my discord, 2 other ones that had the same feeling and done the same as i, which means we blocked the ads.

I'm using AdBlocker Ultimate which is integrated in the context menu. Just click at the annoying ads and they're gone. No need to worry about any code at all.

I was ok with the one on the left side for Fanatical, but multiple ones throughout the giveaways are pissing me off so Ill probably block em.

One thing to note about Fanatical though is that they are ok with giveaways on SG unlike the dickheads at Humble.

Edit: Ads at the top, bottom and left side are ok but not multiple mixed in with the giveaways.

Advertisement takes up one third of the entire site for me 😄

I guess I'm one of the few who isn't bothered by those ads... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ But then again, I rarely scroll through all the gibs so maybe that's why.

I sometimes forget what the web looks like without an adblocker. I find the Fanatical ads inbetween content a little irksome, but I'm happy enough to leave them all as they are pretty respectful overall.
I just tried opening the site in an incognito window (so no adblock) and every ad is animated and they rotate between diffferent ads: it's horrible. If the ads that get round my adblocker (I assume these Fanatical ones are only the start) continue to be respectful of my eyes then I think it's a fair compromise for a site that I genuinely find useful.

bottom or left side is fine, but between giveaway? Hell no. that's when I decide to use countermeasure

I am not bothered with them if they are quite small, related to site content, formatted to site's theme, and have no moving/flashing content.

All Fanatical ads are annoying here. I blocking it all in any possible way. (nothing vs Fanatical at all, just these ads are annoying as fk, idk why it must be big like hell)

I was bothered by this one so I decided to block them.

Pretty minor compared to other sites.

I guess cg should implement random class names/ids for ad containers so people wouldn't be able to block (at least it would be a lot harder) them.

if it aint an obnoxious popup.video or overlay i dont have any prob with most ads just keep it from being predatory

also i keep ublock disabled for SG

The ones between giveaways are annoying, I blocked them and kept the side and bottom ads. I usually only have a few giveaways on the page with the rest filtered out, so it basically looks like it's alternating between giveaways and ads if I don't block them. Very unsightly.
