As suggested in the first comment, SGTools could be used to limit the number of entries, but it's not perfect, as it consider every user who passed the requirements and asked for the link as an entry, regardless if they actually entered the giveaway or not.

How difficult would it be to add the option to end a Giveaway by a trigger setting (e.g., 1,000 entries)? edit A bit of clarification - I mean to ask if the powers that be could set up this option.
