I totally agree with Mayanaise.
Most people enter giveaways they will play and they wont enter giveaways for shovelware and other different low/no rating games..
I for one just hide such games so they dont show up for me, but I dont see why someone shouldnt just blacklist you not to see such GAs.
PS. at this point it looks like some 5 blacklists hurt only your feelings..these people who blacklisted you probably didnt even check who they are blacklisting

While I can't answer your question (nor do I think it's really meriting of consideration), this thread probably won't do you any favors in regards to avoiding blacklists, given the exhaustion the community has towards low-value topics regarding on the subject.

It can be hard to tell really, but your profile notes you have over 100 comments made, so potentially if an older thread gets bumped, someone might have stumbled on something you said and blacklisted based on that. If you ever took part in one of the divisive topics, it kind of sets you up for a bunch of both black and whitelists depending on what side you took (and how abrasively).
If you don't have many blacklists in total, don't worry about it. Some people are more trigger-happy than others, so we all get a handful of free black marks eventually, heh. Try not to stress about it, at the end of the day the blacklisting is mutual in terms of giveaways. Anyone who blacklists you will also be unable to enter your giveaways. If the worst you really did was offer up filler-style giveaways, then it's nothing to worry about. It's really unlikely that there's any animosity, just some folks using their account features to track a personal metric. Try not to take it too personally, though I suppose seeing the blacklist marker on your account stats go up could be worrisome if they're your first, haha.

I have not looked to see what your opinions are on past topics, nor does it really matter for the scope of this conversation.
Please don't let those folks who would BL for whatever the reason keep you from this site. Everyone has noses, and everyone has opinions. Just because they disagree with you or vice versa should not get you down. Everyone on this site who has ever spoken has received (or will receive) a blacklist or 10. In fact, one of the best pieces of advice regarding them was along the lines of "some will blacklist for any reason--or no reason at all. Some might blacklist you over something as trivial as improper syntax or a spelling error."
That was an eyeopener to me and helped me realize that "there's nothing I can do about being BL'd, so stop stressing out over them."
Again, please do not let someone calling you names, swearing at or blacklisting you--or even several of those things--drive you away from this website. We need folks who give here, and you are one such person. If people don't like the steam games you are giving, that is not your problem.

I'd argue about the "some will blacklist for any reason--or no reason at all" personally. I think rather than there being no reason it's more that in general we don't understand a persons reason for blacklisting.
In the blacklist threads where it gets discussed heavily you will also see a lot of people who disagree with someones reason for blacklisting then claim that they are blacklisting for no reason. No matter what a blacklist just isn't worth getting worked up over at the end of the day, as a race we have much bigger problems heading our way.

Why do you care if people who don't like you blacklist you or not? There will always be people out there in the world who'll hate you for even the smallest reasons, you can't make everyone like you, it's impossible. You have to ignore them and move along, that's the best thing to do. Don't take it personal, such small things shouldn't bother anyone, I bet we all have bigger problems to think about.

Why do you care? You tried to enter some giveaways and hit the blacklist-wall? Because if not - then NOTHING changed for you. Those guy may never actually make a giveaway, or if they do - they may giveaway games you are not interested in, so you would never enter it anyway. Oh yes, they also won't be able to enter your giveaways. What a loss.

Couldn't it possibly have something to do with your profile picture, and with your Steam name being identical with the name of a convicted Nazi criminal, responsible for the 1944 Malmedy massacre against American prisoners of war (and your Steamgifts name derived from it), as well as with posting in your Steam description the sentence "We must secure the supreme existence of our country and future for our children", which is almost exactly the 14 Words? Nowadays, no real reason to tie it to any particular nation, except for the historical reasons. Unfortunately they are spread all over the world. 14 Words actually comes from US, and our Peiper is from Finland, not from Germany.
At least, in Germany, like in a few other countries such references are forbidden, and probably if he ever visits Germany, he can be arrested just for the content of his Steam profile, if authorities know about this.

You will not get answer why someone blacklisted you, as it can be answered only by the person that BL you. And I believe those users will not come here to reply, as they did not give you their reasoning before they added you on their "naughty" list.
As it was written above - you can be blacklisted for any reason. Too good / bad ratio, having specific opinion (as there is always someone who will disagree with you), having avatar with specific movie character, making grammar mistakes. So there is nothing to be stressed about, or there is no need to bring this issue into the general forum.
I remember I was blacklisted when I was active in discussions about marriage of non-heterosexual couples. And I do not sweat I was added to BL by people who disagreed with my opinion - aka leave choice to thee people, and don't stand in a way of their happiness because of your religion. Would I stop to comment because I saw I am getting blacklisted? No.
