I lost my dog of 16 years last December and it was bad too towards the end, we had to put her down.
Even though I have my 3yo cat and we adopted a pupper, I still get sad and teary from time to time ;_;

My friend's cat is in the same situation, 17 years and she is very sick right now. It sucks, but only good memories will stay in your mind once some time has passed.

Hey, guys. The cat I've had for 17 years passed away Thursday night. She went very peacefully, but struggled and suffered so much this week. It sucks to lose her, but at least she's in a better place.
