I know, right?
Just moments later I got another one of these and, this time, in my native language and from a different Microsoft corporation's headquarters! That's like double the amount!
Billy boy sure know how to show appreciation to his friends xD

i always get those 1 time a month and i don't even have a blizzard account, said person might be a moron sending that email from a different email address every month like he has nothing better to do

Never had a Blizzard one despite having an account but I used to get a load of ArenaNet ones when I regularly played Guild Wars.

Official Microsoft emails have a green shield on them. Or is it a green heart? Or am I thinking of blue hearts from here?

Noooo, as I just said in the comment above "just moments later I got another one of these and, this time, in my native language and from a different Microsoft corporation's headquarters! That's like double the amount!" I just might give it a go now that it's double! xD

I'm Nigerian royalty and I need you to send me all of your money, one of your kidneys and your first born child so I can get home and send you $10,000,000. This is totally legit. While you're at it, figure out why God keeps telling people with terminal cancer to give me all of their money. I seriously get at least one e-mail like this every couple of weeks and I'm convinced that Google Translate has become self-aware and is trying to steal my identity.

On the other hand, I got an email from "Microsoft" that my hotmail password was recently changed. The thing was the fake MS email looks very similar to the real MS email.

My Mum is in her 70s, and has been getting lots of phonecalls from fake "Microsoft Technical Support" ... good luck with that, as not only does Mum know better than to listen to them, I installed Linux on her computer years ago :P She gets stressed out by scam emails like this though, and worries that she's been compromised somehow.

I'm not really sure if this is a new thing but here's a heads-up.
I just received an email from "Microsoft", pretty pathetically made if I do say so myself, from the sender alice.cartaud@univ-lille3.fr which said:
"Váš e-mail ID získali odmenu vo výške $ 900,000.00 od spoločnosti Microsoft. Odoslať. Meno: Mobil: Krajina: Age."
"Your e-mail ID receive a reward of $ 900,000.00 from Microsoft. To send. Name: Mobile: Country: Age."
Now, why am I sharing this totally poorly made scam with this, a very well informed, community? Mostly because of your parents :)
If your moms/dads/grandparents are anything like mine and they get this email which shows, at first glance, as if it was sent by Microsoft they'll probably freak out. You know, an "official" email they can't read without using a tanslating engine.
I know I had a bit of a "WTF?! I got hacked?! Aaaaaaa, noooo! This is my Steam email! O.o" moment when I got the notification on my phone xD
Anyway, is this a new thing or has this been going around for a while and I've just now had the pleasure of reporting it?
