Chivalry doesn't want to connect to server.. any help?

So I just downloaded Chivalry: Medieval Warfare and wanted to play some. After played some of the tutorial, I went to the server list and joined a server. After waiting 3000 Years, I get an error saying it took too long to connect bla bla bla.. this happens to most servers. I meet the recommended setting, and even above.
