Yes indeed and they cover that fact very casually and in the open.
cyanic - Groupees HQ / 01:35 - All Steam games bundled 1-4 times, following an approximately normal distribution.

The hint has become reality. What a poor bundle even for Groupees norms. ; _ ;

Awesome. Just awesome. "Hey guys, pre-order this bundle of games you probably already have."
It's like something broke over at Groupees and nothing made that more clear than after the Incursion bundle hit and Cyanic responded to criticism of that bundle's quality like bad games were the only thing that could keep Groupees alive.
I honestly don't know what's up with them. I believed in the site so much that I let them include my band's full, studio produced CD in a Be Mine bundle (which does NOT pay musical acts AT ALL) just because I wanted to be a part of it at the time. If I were just discovering Groupees today I'd figure it was about to close like Indie royale.

People addicted to pre-order culture combined with a high frequency of shovelware bundles is perhaps what keeps them afloat. That seems to be their business model now and long gone are the days when they actually tried to make decent quality bundles. I think I've bought maybe like 1 bundle from them in about 6 months.

The pre-order cost is $1.50, so that tells me all I need to know.

The $1.50 pre-order price agrees with your data. I have a pet theory that the $1.50 bundles are usually much worse than the $1.25 bundles, because Groupees tends to charge a bit more on the pre-order for bundles they know aren't going to sell much once they go live.

Looking forward to another batch of shovelware releases.
I am limp with anticipation.

Hey guys, new to the party with a few general questions.
So the pre-order price is sure to be cheaper than the live price, am I correct in assuming this? Is there a vast difference? Like, $1.50 pre and $5.00 live?
I see "hints", will we get hints to the other games the bundle contains before it goes live and thus be able to make a more informed decision?
Thanks. #suchanoob

Correct, I'd expect a price between $3 and $4 for all content if you wait.

Not impossible, but I wouldn't bet on it. Informed decisions aren't how Groupees do their pre order bundles.

Yes, the pre-order price is always cheaper than the whole bundle when it goes live. You just don't know what you will get, but if you pre-order you will receive the entire bundle. But with these Build a Bundle they tend to only be like 'Pay minimum $1 for 2 games, and $3 for all 8 games!'. Most of the times at least.
Mostly we get hints about the other games, yes. But not always. What we always get is the number of steam and greenlight games at least. But other times we get more hints, and a lot of the times people make great and correct guesses. There has been pre-order bundles where nearly all games have been guessed. So if you are curious about the hints always keep an eye on Groupees chat if I didn't copy it into the thread yet. :)

Thanks for chart.
So, I wanted to reconsider a pre-order, I checked their previous bab bundles, and well, there is nothing to miss here, I don't want more bad library fillers.
EDIT : (not) waiting for live is best option
