I know ASCII and this doesn't make any sense to me

Interesting, I think I know what to do. Now if only I weren't so lazy. :-] Thanks!
(Oh man, why did I have to forget everything I knew about constrained programming in Prolog...)

AzureKyte has written the easiest part, the hardest part is to put the numbers in a grid correctly, like in a sudoku puzzle. I've put some lines together, but I'm too lazy to finish it and check. You also have to convert the dec values to hex to form a correct CD key template, I guess. So gl guys.

They're all Steam inventory items (not keys or bundles). One almost has an Easter theme.

I've solved it, everything adds up to what it's supposed to but none of the codes are valid. So it would appear that there are multiple solutions or you've made a mistake somewhere when you made it.

You haven't defined enough parameters - multiple valid solutions exist. I've found a few that solve the conditions given fine but do not yield valid codes (even ignoring the order 2 degeneracy from the columns). Ah, the joys of linear algebra...

I would say that one from each row/column should make it a lot easier to solve with the intended answers

"Larger cases are really difficult to solve. For example, as far as I know, nobody knows the number of essentially different 5 × 5, uniquely solvable open [Puzzle name here]. For the 4 × 4 case, the corresponding number is 5327 according to enumeration made by [Guys name here]."

Not close to solving it, but liking this. Nice puzzle :)

Edit: Each of the 25 ASCII characters goes in one location, the numbers give you a clue what goes where.
Edit2: Ends around 6:40pm 9th April.
Edits: I've added characters to the grid.
Edit: The numbers show you what the characters in each row & column add up to.
Edit: Added 5 (or 6) characters, at least one from each column & row.
