Just keep at it. There's no real pattern or way to help your odds aside from maybe getting into an exclusive group but I wouldn't know because I'm not cool enough for that. Entering contributor giveaways doesn't make a huge difference until you get into ridiculous numbers but they do help, so maybe consider putting some karma out there.

Every person who enters a giveaway is just as likely as you are. Keep entering and eventually one will get lucky.

It took me nearly 5000 entries to get 12 gifts. Have some patience.

Define "try so hard". 199 entries and probaly mostly in givaways with ods like 2000:1? It's not bad luck, or Gods hating you. It's just what's to expect. Just hang in there, it'll be worth it.
