It's made by Diablo 2 development team, the closed beta in my opnion is pretty good.

ive played multiple beta days. it sucks that it is only up for a few hrs here and there, but the game is a lot of fun. think diablo 2 with marvel superheroes

Isn't that in essence Ultimate Alliance but with less of a squad focus, if so sounds like a great multiplayer game with friends!
