I may be wrong but I belive the value of different games can change over time and that is reflected on your pointa/level.

You got scammed by the system.

Either one or more game to retroactively bundled or one or more games got a price reduction on steam

A game you have given away was either retroactively bundled, or had their price permanently reduced on the Steam store.

something decreased in value on steam store or something was retroactively added to bundlelist are top 2 typical reasons. (among others)

You need to buy SG Premium

This isn't fair. You should get the points at the end of your giveaway and if the game reduce its price or gets bundled... only affect future giveaways.

If a game gets bundled it only reduces the value for giveaways made after the bundle date. You have to realize that there might be a delay between a game being actually bundled and getting added to the bundle list, as it has to be done manually.

I agree

Sadly, if a game you give away has a permanent price drop (not just a sale), then SteamGifts reduces the value of the game you've given away. This means that your level can drop days, months, or years after a giveaway is complete. Silly, but that's the way it is.

It kinda sux , especially if u giveaway something when it was Non bundled , and then the price has radical drop ... like Mortal kombat X ...

I personally do not understand why SG has this policy. They keep track of whether a user gifts a game before or after it gets bundled. Why don't they also track what the value of the game was at the time of gifting?

If someone gifts an unbundled game valued at $40, and two years later the game price drops to $20, that user should not be punished. The value at the time they gifted that game should be preserved ($40), just like someone who gifts a game before it's bundled won't lose CV if that game is bundled at a later time.

It's disappointing that users' CV level can drop over time because of this inconsistency.
