Beta access only, unless it ends up being F2P, then it's technically full game.

I am really not sure. The game is in beta but no where in the title, gifts, or store page does it say I got the beta version.

It is only for beta. You also get 2 other invites. The game might end up to be free to play though.

No, you don't. You get 2 other invites from keys, not from gifts.

It's surprising how some people are willing to trade brand new games just to get access to the beta. Or they just don't realise that it's not the full game...

This all depends on Valve, maybe the game will be free-to-play, maybe not. If not, maybe this would be full access, if it will be free-to-play, maybe you get some bonus from that. Who knows...

If you posted that on Steam forums you would have 100 people sending you requests in less than a minute. You can sell the key quickly for $30 then any higher would take a bit longer.

He meant he wanted to give Fortix for Dota 2.

I think it will be free to play Lol Hon and Blizzard Dota are all free , they have too much competition

But maybe DOTA2 will smash all the others out of the ballpark and be on a whole new level, so they make people pay for the game?

I too think it will be free to play...so after beta testing your dota 2 key sould become a full game :o

Tribes Ascend is in beta and will be F2P but you get to keep the same account and stats after release

They're beta keys. And the keys will probably expire on the game release.

Hey guy, do you need to bump a thread that got answered 20 posts ago?

Beta keys. DOTA 2 is going to be a F2P game when it releases so unless you have played DOTA or LoL then you are most likely going to be COMPLETELY LOST and going to be COMPLETELY USELESS as a tester

Not true, you could try the game in an unexpected way and find bugs by roaming into places or combinating stuff noone experienced would. The thing is that you wouldn't notice that those are bugs unless the game glitches or something, but you wouldn't be less useful to the community than the people selling the accounts.
