Is it a different key for each service?
I just checked mine and the GFWL key string that appears is the same Steam key that I activated back when I bought it.

So, it won't "break my game" in any sort of way that I passed the gfwl key to someone else's account. I'm only concerned about my own copy of the game, if it will work without any problems (I mean if they won't need me to pass the key for some sort of autentication), I will pass it.

Can I pass GfWL key that I have with my own Steam copy of the game, to a friend of mine? When I try to redeem it on my account it prompt to download the game, not showing any info's that it's not a proper Steam key.
