Let me point you to http://www.elfwood.com/ -- the place for fantasy art before Google Images and/or DeviantArt existed.
As well I agree, all anime originally made after the year ~2000 or so is pretty much garbage.

You don't dislike movies for seeing a couple of shit ones do you ? Do you ever saw someone who only watched Twilight and 50 Shades of Gray and hates movies and stop watching them forever ? Animes are the same. Yes, good troll indeed but I'm pretty sure there are some people who hates anime generally. Those people should shut up and keep their opinions to themselves. We don't go around post WE LOVE ANIME below everything do we ? Please just skip the topics about anime if you dislike it, it's that simple. You won't gain anything from commenting "I hate anime you damn weebos" under those topics.
Opinions man. Everyone have it. Too bad some people have 2-digit IQ's.

Amine is causing birth defects in our generation. Babies will start to develop stage 9 desu if we don't wipe amines off the world.
Hayao Miyazaki was right. Amine was a mistake.

I found this fact interesting:
"In Japanese, the term anime refers to all forms of animation from around the world."
So, that means (as usual) that us foreigners have twisted the original meaning to something other than it should be, where we now only apply the term to anything Japanese. Whereas in fact, Tom and Jerry is, strictly speaking, anime, at least to a Japanese person.
The older term 'Japanimation' is at least more meaningful and descriptive of the specific sub-genre.

Yes, in the 80s & 90s we called it Japanimation. But since weebs want to be Japanese they use the term Japanese people use, anime, to identify the animation -- regardless of the broadly encompassed genres inferred by the original usage.
Japanese youth public have an affinity to American animation like Mickey Mouse or Tom & Jerry, the same way American youth public have an affinity to Japanese animation.

To get to the essence of why anime should be abolished from Steamgifts, we must first recognize that Japanese are resentful losers and why their propaganda of mongolian rice tapestry is a final, insignificant bastion of spitefulness. In the 1930s and 40s, Japan was a ruling empire slaughtering millions of innocent Chinese and Americans, sometimes even extending their raptorial hands on repressed ethnic groups and Australians. They launched a sneak-attack on a Sunday morning, knowing that Christians would be praying, against the peaceful nation of United States in Pearl Harbor. I understand that history is no longer taught in American schools, and that's come about at exactly the same time as anime.
Anime, or as I refer to it, "Emperor Hirohito's Revenge", is a hallucinatory form of moving pictures that replaces reality with childish fantasy. Western animation is fantasy too, but it always has a moral compass. Tom is a cat, Jerry is a mouse. Tom wants to eat Jerry, Jerry shoots Tom in the face with a .45. And a strong moral lesson is learned.
But Japanese media in general has no such values, because it comes from the imperial Japanese (who had no morality) after they became even more nihilistic having lost the war and suffering two atomic bombs.
Anime is entertainment of the worst kind. It is simply wrong with plots ranging from the pseudo intellectual to the cheap 3 PM sitcom and there is nothing remarkable about it. The worst is that it tries to hide these flaws behind shabby characters whose excuse of progress is moving from antagonists to allies and vice versa, this while pulling some pathetic speech that is supposed to supplant credible reasons. The average academic recognizes that anime is garbage, and they may enjoy it, hate it or be completely indifferent to it, but all that while recognizing that the medium itself, regardless of their opinion, is simply bland and uninspiring.
The modern kamikaze decided to promote the cartoons of dystopic Japan in order to brainwash rest of the civilized world, hoping that the unrealistic expectation in cup size would make men apathetic towards real women, while at the same time keeping women at bay in their escapist vortex of satisfying but dishonest portrayal of what love actually is. And now with the tsunami, we can see how right we've been the whole time.
Oh and .
