So, according to your points, all games from Germany should be banned too since the Nazis killed millions of jews nearly a century ago. And while we're at it, how about banning all games made by Christians since the Templars and the Inquisition resulted in thousands of innocent lives being lost.
Next will be all games from Scandinavia because the Vikings raped and pillaged neighbouring countries a thousand years ago. Oh and of course American games for all the people killed in the different wars the US have been a part of.

However, I think what he's trying to point out here is that anime is brainwashing viewers to the ideals of the creator.
This, however, is too broad an argument to make as well, since there are cases for this in all forms of media, especially advertising.

I have been researching all three chapters of Pico's life for the past 7 months and I don't find myself even close to being qualified to tackle the issues represented by Pico, Tamotsu, Chico or CoCo. The smile you see at Pico's face during episode one expresses deep, emotional trouble of not being filled up properly by people around him. Pico realizes that no other human being can fill him up emotionally and thus turns to other.. less common practices that could lead to finally stuffing the fragile soul of our hero. Thus the ice cream presence and its symbolism. Now, I don't feel like penetrating these problems even further with an inexperienced and straight ignorant person such as yourself. Western animation is fantasy too, but it always has a moral compass. Tom is a cat, Jerry is a mouse. Tom wants to eat Jerry, Jerry shoots Tom in the face with a .45. And a strong moral lesson is learned.
But Japanese media in general has no such values, because it comes from the imperial Japanese (who had no morality) after they became even more nihilistic having lost the war and suffering two atomic bombs.
Anime is entertainment of the worst kind. It is simply wrong with plots ranging from the pseudo intellectual to the cheap 3 PM sitcom and there is nothing remarkable about it. The worst is that it tries to hide these flaws behind shabby characters whose excuse of progress is moving from antagonists to allies and vice versa, this while pulling some pathetic speech that is supposed to supplant credible reasons. The average academic recognizes that anime is garbage, and they may enjoy it, hate it or be completely indifferent to it, but all that while recognizing that the medium itself, regardless of their opinion, is simply bland and uninspiring.
The modern kamikaze decided to promote the cartoons of dystopic Japan in order to brainwash rest of the civilized world, hoping that the unrealistic expectation in cup size would make men apathetic towards real women, while at the same time keeping women at bay in their escapist vortex of satisfying but dishonest portrayal of what love actually is. And now with the tsunami, we can see how right we've been the whole time.
