Unfortunately, in the US Coca-Cola doesn't sell Coke sweetened with cane sugar (just the usual high fructose corn syrup). PepsiCo does, however, sell Pepsi Throwback which is sweetened with sugar cane. So I almost exclusively buy Pepsi as a result. That said, I do buy Mexican Coke from time to time (which uses sugar), and I prefer it to Pepsi Throwback. However, it's more expensive and not as widely available.

Coke is currently my favourite and they have done some really interesting things in China, but not sure if this is the same elsewhere. They introduced a 300ml bottle of coke for 2 RMB (Chinese dollars). It is cheap convenient and small and still quite tasty. It is also harder to get pepsi in bars and restaurants so it is Coke all the way for me.

Coke for sure. Pepsi is too sweet...or too...something, for me. I used to drink a lot of pepsi max but that's because I'd buy it by the carton, it's always cheaper than coke and I didn't want to buy a carton of non diet soft drink because that's a buttload of sugar and soft drinks are my vice. Some people have a sweet spot for chocolate, or ice cream... for me it's soft drink, especially cola.

I'm not a huge fan of US coke though.. Here in australia we don't use HFCS as a sweetener in....well, anything that I can think of. Occasionally I buy a can of import cherry coke from the corner store (We don't have that here either...used to, and recently they brought it back as a limited-time thing, but only as Cherry Coke Zero...) and there's a definite aftertaste that all US import soft drinks seem to have. I find that HFCS takes the edge off a bit, sorta makes them more bland I think.
