I don't know how the multiplayer in King Arthur's Gold currently is... This game has so much potential, but at the same time it looks so vulnerable to griefers.

On the other hand, Worms Armageddon is a classic in all senses. It could have aged better, due to poor graphics scaling playing it on a TV or large resolution screen may be annoying. Still, it's the best Worms iteration in my opinion. I love playing Worms on a hotseat / control rotation scheme.

Now to the decision... King Arthur's Gold if you have more friends to play with; Worms Armageddon otherwise.

Yes I quite some research and found that in general, Armageddon is the most liked in the series. I've never played a Worms game so I don't know if I'll like it or not, but I've always wanted to play one. Also the comment below me about Worms not working worries me.

I can run Worms Armageddon without problems on Windows 7 64-bit... It seems the Steam version does include a lot of patches and improvements to better support newer systems, but some people still have trouble. It was the case with my brother, using WormKit or the beta patches solved this issue.

EDIT: Plus, WormKit offers some cool extras :)

Worms Armageddon is REALLY fun, however, you could get a little trouble running it if you run Windows 7 or 8. I had. When i tried to run it, my PC completely crashed. As a workaround is used a Wormkit that run the game windowed. In the game i then set the resolution to my native screen resolution and BAM! Fullscreen, except the menu screen. :D

Coincidentally, I do have Windows 7. . . . . I'm not sure what a Wormkit is but thank you very much for the heads up.

I've always really enjoyed worms armagaddon but it's a bit overpriced imo, even with the discount. I can't remember it even being that expensive when it first came onto the market.

I felt like both were a bit overpriced tbh, but I thought maybe that was just me, like I was being cheap. Thank you very much for telling me that.

I play Worms Armageddon on Windows 7 with no issues and no additional modification. It's a spectacular game and I highly recommend it.
