I had a lot of pets, but most have passed over the years. Now I have two dogs, a lizard and my brother has a ferret.
The first two are curry, my late ferret. The third is Rocky who was my mom's and then there are our Harry and Tigger.

I've had 5 in my life. All different, but in general great pets. A lot of energy when they are awake. They will make you laugh with their ridulousness, and prepare for them to steal and hide stuff. I had one deaf ferret, and while he was nice, he bit hard if you startled him.

So many pets, but now I've got my cat and Chinchila. I'll add pictures later. Basically have owned every rodent you can legally own, a skunk, dogs, cats, finches, a boa, water dragons, iguana, tarantula, rabbits, chickens.
Edit forgot my turtle, and fish (large goldfish, dojo loaches, tetras, and more)

I think you put the wrong link. Right click the image and view image or copy image location. (in firefox)
You should get the .jpg link/image http://i.imgur.com/C6wsjSb.jpg

I had a sweet cuddly bird for 10 years who passed 2 years ago,
and i'm going to (probably) adopt a young Pyrrhura from someone who turned out to be allergic.
If that doesn't go through i might get some kind of rodent since they seem to be fun too.

I used to own a lot of them :3
but I prefer gerbils, easier to take care of than rats and they las longer

Depends.
Most of the time they are good.
But sometimes they think that it's OK to make some sort of nest out of new jeans. Or you should definitely use another wires with your sound system.
Little white thug (on image) bites my EX's cockatiel beak to blood for trying to sneak into cage :)
I told her that it wasn't good idea to bring parrot, but you know...She said - "They are just little rats and my dog fears parrot, so it's ok"
Thanks god we where near cage, or RIP little bird and we'd break up a year earlier
No cats were harmed

I'm going to necro this thread with some photos of one of our dogs, Seven. It's his 9:th (63:rd) birthday today. So Tie on, toys out.
And the toy in the picture WAS a beautiful rope-rat 15 minutes before he started playing with it.... Hard to find suitable - read: lasting - toys for a big, good boy.
Cake was made of mashed black pudding, sausages, slices of liver pate, and dog biscuits.

The breeds are:
Seven is a cross between Bullmastiff and Old Victorian Bulldog.
Rillo is a Chinese Crested Dog, Powder Puff (level 5).
Both are, well, whatchacall it? Not rescued dogs as that implies they were abused or mishandled - and they weren't - but taken over by us from families that due to changed circumstances couldn't keep them anymore.
We also have three cats, and two of them are similarly rescued cats. The cats and dogs go very well together, and not only tolerate each other, but sometimes cuddle together and/or play together.

It was my cat's death of old age fifth anniversary two weeks ago, all of my rodents are dead, my turtle is dead (fell from a balcony, imagine that), and my sister's cat that was living with me for some weird reasons was euthanized in my hands because of lymphoma this summer. Basically, I don't have any pets.

Sorry about being whiny. I never mean to, but return to this tone over and over again.

Uhm .... I didn't imply at all you being whiny. It's in your fullest right to be sad about the loss of loved animals as far as I'm concerned, especially as it seems you had some tough luck on your hands during the last years. I meant to send some truefelt consolation and a small reminder that there are so many pet friends out there longing for a caring heart like yours, is all.
I hope you get better soon, PP.

Our Jack Russel Terrier used to look a lot like this picture - now with 18+ years (second hand dog), she has gotten a lot of weight and heart problems.
Fun fact: my dog really likes the sound of chopping onions, since she associates it with my dad preparing Wurstsalat (= sausage salad).

I wanted to make thread for sharing pictures and stories of our pets.
To kick it off, the top one and my current cat is named Skotti:
The second one is Mýra, she died 5 years ago
The third one is her mom, Dúlla. She was not ours but the people who live below us had her and all of our cats have been allowed to come and go as they please
