Can't you just wait till you receive the key? Doubt you're allowed to do a giveaway if you don't have the key or the gift before the giveaway ends, right?

It will only be mark as not received if the person mark it as so. Tho you really should wait until you get the key, or just make the giveaway last until you get it.

While you could make it now if they didn't mark it either way, it's best for everyone involved that you wait until you have a Steam key.

You can set the GA to be open for 3 or 4 weeks if you like

I want to create a giveaway for my birthday tomorrow with a game, which will be unlocked in a month, but the giveaway should last only for a few days.
The game is already bought but not via steam, so I don't have a steam gift! I will receive the key as soon as the game will be unlocked.
This means that the winner would have to wait for 3 up to 4 weeks before receiving the game.
Is it a problem if the winner does neither mark the game as received nor as not received for such a long period?
