You have it, give it a try. It has aged quite well.

To further elaborate: it's a first person shooter with comic book style, with visible sound effects on screen (enemies during stealth sections will emit a visible TAP TAP when walking that can be seen through the walls and explosions show a giant BOOOOM on screen). The setting and the plot is very similar to the Bourne movies (of which they took inspiration from the original XIII comic books), with a skilled amnesiac agent that finds himself caught within a conspiracy to kill the president (which is a stand-in for JFK). It alternates between hard stealth levels and shooting levels with standard FPS weapons and boss battles with a funky soundtrack and a well crafted plot. It wasn't revolutionary aside from its cel shading graphics and dual wielding guns, but it is very fun, although the instant fail condition during stealth segments can get somewhat annoying. It was also famous for NOT having quicksaves and relying on manual saves at distant checkpoints in an era where quicksaving was mandatory on PC. I hope that the remake will iron out these flaws.
Also the game ended with a cliffhanger for a sequel that we never had because it didn't sell well.

I remember playing that on my flatmates Xbox. It was an awesome game.

Would be great if it will make it to PC. Won't buy a PS4 to play it, but it's certainly a great game.

Very cool - It was the first cel-shaded 3D game I remember

Nice, I remember playing the game a long, LONG time ago. It was awesome, I hope the remake will be available on PCs (and won't be an Epic exclusive, lol).

woooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah signs of life <333333
I love this gem!!
I hope not EPIC exclusive. Microids makes their remakes / remaster in the past for Steam. Like Asterix.

I have the PS2 version and just about wore a hole thru it! Great game, great story, great graphics...will be interesting to see what they improve on

OMG YES! I loved that game! I spent so many hours just playing the multiplayer mode vs bots.

Full remake instead of remaster ?
Bold move for sure. Let's hope this works out better than the Flashback full remake Ubisoft put out a few years back.
I do hope they keep how the sound queues (for the stealth bits) also appeared as comic book sound effects on screen, that was a nice touch. And with today's technology it should be possible to better match the artstyle of the XIII graphic novels.

I wonder if they'll get David Duchovny again to voice the lines. Loved the game, despite its abrupt cliffhanger ending. Hope it sells well so we finally get some closure aka sequel.

It's a remake of the glorious Ubisoft shooter with a completely new engine. I'm glad that they decide to release it again, at least the new generations can enjoy this fantastic game since the original isn't available anywhere in digital version. Coming 13th November 2019 on all platforms.
