Page says nothing about DRM-free downloads, so I think you are right. Seems as if you get nothing until the game is released on Steam.

Greenlight #1 eventually provided itch.io keys in email form. Dunno about this one.

The first three had them, but since people only really want the Steam keys, I believe they just decided to stop. Four and now five have no actual games at the time of purchase. They move games through Greenlight pretty quickly, so you should start getting keys soon enough. To note, 1-3 all had "your keys" emails, to deliver them after purchase. Starting at four, the email is now "support us", with a link to the Greenlight pages.

For Greenlight bundles, I prefer to get something DRM-free to play with, just in case the game never makes it to Steam, and to have something to look at while I'm waiting. This is why I generally only buy Groupees GL bundles, because they are the only site that consistently gives you DRM-free copies, either directly hosted or via third-party, no matter what.

as always for otakumaker's greenlight bundles you dont get any games at all unless they get put on steam.
you dont get any itch.io keys
you dont get any drm-free direct downloads
you dont get anything just because the game got greenlit
it has to get greenlit, allowed to go on steam, and then actually end up on steam, until then yer jsut a schmuck that gave otakumaker your money for absolutely nothing.

The point they're making is that unlike Groupees, all you're getting is a promise of a game, and not an actual game in a lot of cases.
Game Deals on Reddit has banned deals from sites that don't provide DRM-free downloads for not yet greenlit games.
