It's that time of the year. The NFL's championship game is less than 24 hours away. The New England Patriots go head-to-head with the Los Angeles Rams, to battle it out for the title of best in the league.

Whether you love it or hate it, this game undoubtedly has the power to both bring together, and pull apart the football fans in the nation and beyond.

Talk about you thoughts and predictions below, and help yourself to the small GA on the way out. Have a great game day!

The game is over. The Patriots edge it out to win 13-3. Congrats Pats Fans!

Ar least the ball used in football is a foot long. properly giving it it's name. unlike soccer balls that are no way near a foot in diameter.

Actually they will be using an 11 inch egg.
But thanks for playing.

I've been a Patriots fan for a long, long time. I was pulling for Pats vs Rams II so this is great :) I'm hoping to see Brady and the Pats get ring #6 today. GO PATRIOTS!

I try to watch the Super Bowl every year, and I'm always rooting for a competitive, exciting game. Super Bowls have not always met those criteria, but there have been some great games recently. Hoping this year continues that trend.

Still butthurt over the Saints defeat, so I will be cheering for them Pats=) But most of all I would just like a close game, and little/no judge interference to the final score.

Well, that was boring. Terrible coaching by the Rams. They certainly deserved to lose.

Game was underwhelming, to say the least. And completely rigged against the Rams. Notice how almost all the penalties were aimed at the Rams? Even the ones that were clearly the fault of the Pats?

I swear, the cheating Pats paid off the refs.

The Rams got completely robbed on the goal-line pass interference no-call that would have otherwise been a touchdown to tie the game.

Goal line pass interference call? There was no pass interference on the Rams last drive lol

He's talking about the play right before the interception, where Goff threw to Cooks around the goal line but it was incomplete.

Gilmore did grab his arm a little bit early, but it wasn't blatant pass interference. Cooks should have caught it.

For the Rams, there's no way to blame anyone except Sean McVay for this loss.

Exactly, canis. It wasn't the most egregious pass interference ever, but Cooks' arm was grabbed and it blew the reception. This is the Superbowl and it happened on a touchdown catch - it should have been called. The interception that followed was on nobody but the Rams, but that play never should have happened because it should have be 1st and goal on the 1 yard line.

I don't know, I thought it was the kind of hand-fighting that happens on many long passes. It usually doesn't get called.

There were a few referee mistakes -- the no-call on the hit on Goff at the sideline, and the phantom holding call on Sullivan come to mind -- but I'm not sure the pass to Cooks was one of them.

Even if we say that it absolutely was pass interference and it was missed... there are certainly those who would say that losing because of a missed P.I. call might be somewhat karmic in nature, considering the Rams/Saints game...

Honestly, it never should have come down to that play. The Rams defense played great for the most part (except for the inability to figure out how to cover a Patriots slot receiver doing the same things that Patriots slot receivers have been doing for over 10 years), but McVay never adjusted to the Patriots defensive scheme. He admitted as much after the game, one of the first things he said was "I got out-coached."

For this year my ideal Super Bowl would have been Chiefs vs Saints. So for me, the game was a mess even before it started. I was so involved that I gave up after the last Rams pass was intercepted.

To be honest, the only way I even knew about Superbowl time was when Newcastle was making a "no Superbowl ad" ad.
Now that they don't, I don't even know when it's that time of the year.

I was honestly going to make a super bowl betting thread (and put some gibs attached to it), but yeah not many people would have coming anywhere close to the final score.
