Just a note for those still having issues:

The more games you have, the longer it takes for Sega to retrieve your owned list of games and process it, hence the plethora of errors on their side. Leave it open for a while at the loading page if you know you have many games and then retry refreshing the page until you get the success message. If you don't have too many games the redemption is almost instant.
