Question about gift

if you win, you will have a big green banner on the main page.

after that it's the giveaway creator's responsibility to get in touch with you and deliver the gift/key within 7 days.

You'll see a green banner towards the top of the giveaway list saying that you won. You can click on it to see which one you won. Then you'll need to wait at up to 7 days to receive your gift via email or Steam. Also, don't forget to read the FAQ.

If you won a giveaway, as stated, a green bar will appear near the top of the main page of SteamGifts (http://www.steamgifts.com/)

If you do win one, check your email as well as your Steam (friend requests, trade offers etc). The creator has up to 7 days to give it to you.

You will see a notification about that on every single SG page you open. Green text, just below the header. You can not miss it, as it appears everywhere until you explicitly mark the gift as received/not received in your profile page.

Just curious as well do the persons doing the giveaway choose the winner or is it randomly selected?

Please do not pursue the person giving the game away. If you have not received the game within 7 days then there is a problem. Follow the rules of the site accordingly. After receiving said gift, install it on your Steam account promptly. Do not give it away, the game must be installed or will most likely be reported by person that gave it to you. So be sure to only enter giveaways you are actually interested in.

You will see this on every page you visit. You can also see it by clicking on the arrow next to 'Giveaways' on top and clicking on 'View Won'
