Do you play skyrim with mods?
I need "Play? I can't play it! Each time I try, I decide to make some little-easy-fast-to-make mod and end up spending more time in CK then in the game!" poll option :(

A lot of the Fallout ones are better due to them being much further along with development, although they are slowly porting them over to Skyrim. Think they got the Chainsword animations working correctly recently as well as using firearms. Still nothing is more hilarious and ballsy than a bunch of Sisters of Battle Eviscerator bull rushing a bunch of Deathclaws in New Vegas.
Then there are the mods that let you tame and fly Dragons as well use a variety of vehicles and equipment such as Plasma Pistols, Bolters and Jump Packs. Think one added airships that you can control as well.

UFO (ultimate follower ovehaul, Reallistic Water Two, few ESO armors (that isn't mod name, You gotta search for them because I don't remember :P) Immersive Armors & Weapons, Skyrim Flora Overhaul are must have :) These are my absolutely favs all the time.
Anyway best method for creating Your best Skyrim mod experience, is searching, searching, and searching, in the depths of Nexus, and other sites.

Well, I don't know if you like the anime called Fate/Unlimited Bladeworks, if you like it, there is one awesome mod that brings the Unlimited Blade Works ability to the game, its pretty well done. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/64753/?

I've played Skyrim on its 2 years anniversary on a meduim PC, with little to no graphics mods and just few other mods.
Basically: Requeim, Skyrim Immersive Creatures and FrostFall plus some minor, yet essential mods like Cloaks of Skyrim, Timing is everything, SkyUI, AltStart, Guard Dialog Overhaul et cetera.
And compatibility patches, lots of them.

I like followers mod the best, because if im going to bring someone with me on an adventure i don't want them to be boring.
Recorder is my current favorite, she is fully voiced so she wont say the same lines from other followers over and over again.
Some of my favorites are: Become a Bard, Enhanced Blood Textures, SkyUI (which everyone who mods probably use that one already), DYNAVISION
and a few armor mods see screenshot below

i am curious about the multiplayer mod myself for skyrim

It is literally impossible to do unfortunately without building the game back up from scratch. You would have to replace the scripting system entirelly so that it could sync and then rebuild everything to use it and I mean everything down to the very last detail.
So yeah it could be done but I doubt anyone would be willing to spend the time on what could be very well a decade long project.

I'm an in-game hoarder, so the first mod I got was the Hermit's Tree House. There were probably other more vanilla places I could stash stuff but... In Fallout 3 the music drove me crazy, not so much the style, which fit the game, but the fact the same tracks kept repeating. I found a radio station mod which fit the style perfectly, It might have been GNR Enhanced, it was a while ago. I don't know if GNR Enhanced is a mod which can be added from Steam.
I tend to go crazy with modding and break my games, so I am trying to go with just what I really need. I'll probably skip Skyrim mods like this one...

So I guess it's a boy? ;) I had a girl rabbit for, I think, 9 years. She was amazing. I don't want to sound like some weirdo but I think I had with her the strongest bound that man can have with a other living thing :D Also it's funny (and also great) how similliar characters we had :) People are about cats and dogs, thinking rabbits are little cute thingies for kids but they can be very good companions. Not to mention that they are very sociable (well my rabbit was sociable to me, and randomly to few other people, for others... not so much ;]).

Yes my bunny is a boy. No that doesn't sound weird. Bunnies can become bound to a human just like they can bind to another bunny. My bunny makes a growling noise when someone in the room takes my attention.
I read a funny forum post recently, about a woman who was confused why her roommate, who was typically tidy, left open candy wrappers by the candy dish. She finally confronted her roommate about it. Turns out the roommate was just as confused by the wrappers. They found out the bunny was taking the candies, unwrapping them somewhere else and returning the wrappers near the dish. I probably wouldn't have believed it if I didn't own a bunny. :)

Oh yeah, mine rabbit also was could be jealous. And she was representing as hard as she could :D
I once read in local newspaper that some dude had a stroke or something like that. Because he was often lying on ground, playing with his bunny, his family didn't realize something is wrong. He lived thanks to his rabbit which jumped on him and then started to jumping on his chest and making noises. Was his animal trying to help him or gain attention - no one knows, but rabbits efforts was noticed by other family members and dude was saved, thanks to his animal :)

Wow, that's really amazing! It reminds me what my aunt once told me. She was working in a bank. One day there was an explosion, it was probably a gas leak or something like that. Many people died, she was lucky and lived. Even many years after, her dog, that wasn't even alive when that thing happend, knew where she had her old wounds and tried to ease pain but hugging or licking them. But dogs are known for this kind of emapthy.
Kinda similiar but less tragic story was with my rabbit. I had a problem with an eye. I don't even remember what happend, did get hit by a ball or something like that, but my brave little girl for few days was delicatly climbing on my head to lick my eye :D
As for me, I always tried to teach my rabbit to do that. She was close to complete the training but unfortunatelly I never had a chance to try her skills on battlefield ;D

I don't remember all the mods that I used during my playthrough, but here were some of the standout ones that I used:
SkyUI: Better UI, makes menu navigation smoother.
Immersive Armors: More armor types
Immersive Weapons Same as above, but for weapons
Cloaks of Skyrim Does what it says on the tin
Deadly Dragons Makes dragons more dangerous. In particular nice towards the later portions of the game, where dragon fights are a joke in vanilla
Immersive Creatures More creatures for Skyrim!
Realistic Animals and Predator Makes animals behave in a more believable way.

Skyrim was in my backlog for two years before I got around to playing it. When I finally did I put in over 200 mods for my initial play-through.
I won't list them all here. xD
But for the uninitiated, here's a selection of stuff from must-haves to personal favorites.
SET-UP
Modding Beginner's Guide ... This is a good, easy-to-follow tutorial on how to set up your game to properly use mods.
Mod Organizer ... My personal favorite of all the mod launch tools. Fantastic interface. Pretty easy to understand. Lots of YouTube videos from basics to advanced stuff.
THE MODS
YOU SIMPLY MUST HAVE THESE!
BETTER GAME EXPERIENCE
PERSONAL FAVORITES

INIGO :D was gonna put that one! My favorite moment was when I pulled out "my" bow and he said "Ha ha, just make sure to give that back some time" (I stole his bow first thing xD) 11/10 he's smart

The random quotes he drops are freaking hilarious!
I only discovered after my first play-through that he has a choose-your-own-adventure book in his Riften cell that he narrates. Gotta pick that up when I play again.

I like to play the vanilla game at least until I've completed everything. I only installed the unofficial patches since Bethesda devs are too lazy to fix their own bugs.

Wow, your characther is nearly as cute as you :o even though i got dozen of mods, most of them are big. My favorite kind of mods are generally visual ones like thousandgrass, flora, the one who replace the sky night by an andromeda, those who replace the whole face / body of character (i suppose you agree on the fact that your perso in your screenshot look way better than the original npc ;) and the 2K resolution of nearly all city
i like the base gameplay of the elder scroll so i do not mess a lot with it, though i used a mod call 360 walk and run plus, wich i find improving the camera, also one to see the rest of my body when in 1st person, just having hands look awkward haha.
I also like those who add variety in the game, like monster mod, skybirds, and such. And more armor, more weapon (depending on my mood i might want to play the game following the "lore" (skyrim immersive, cloak of skyrim, cold and wet, etc... and sometimes i just do every crazy thin i want like adding TERA armor into the game :p)
Don't think it'll help you as you probably know about all the mod i told, though some people might not know this site that regroup some mod and categorize them a bit : http://skyrimgems.com/

It removes the level scaling, it kind of turns Skyrim into a rogue-like : you can meet deadly enemies very early in the game - but also very good loot.

I only have a few installed mods, because:
Here are my installed mods (PF = Personal Favorite):
I'm considering trying installing Nexus mods again. There's so much more good stuff on Nexus... :(

Whilst it might require a bit more time to master Mod Organizer (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/1334/?) is generally considered the better choice. It stores your mod separately from the game files and links to them without overwriting anything so you can't really screw anything up.
Edit: It also has supports for nexus links so you can still download/install directly from the Nexus site.

Installed NMM yesterday and I've installed a few mods. The more complex ones are a bit broken, though. For example, I couldn't get the capes physics one to work. :(

i tried but no amount of mods can fix how empty and life-less and videogamy.. it feels. Play New Vegas. :D

So, since Skyrim is owned by 99.9999% of people here (or should be, shame on you if you don't own it), I figured it'd be interesting to see what people's favourite mods for the game are. Useful ones, like combat overhauls and skill trees? Visual ones, like ENBs and ten thousand grass mods? Expansion-like mods, like Falskaar?
I'd appreciate it if you could recommend some of your favourite, less well known mods. I think I know all the big ones by now (I have hundreds of mods installed) so I'm really looking for those gems in the rough, ones that might have escaped notice. Even tiny things, one of my favourite mods just changes how bottles look in the game. In return, I'm willing to recommend mods based on the sort of thing you like. :P
and bonus screenshot of my current skyrim character.
