Avast! (even the free version) + Malwarebytes is the best combo ever.
Plus common sense when using internet.

I've been using the AVG free edition for over 2 years now with no issues at all. Before that I was paying 39.99 a year for McAfee.

When it comes to firewalls, I only use ZoneAlarm. Other firewalls actually leave ports open when they should not be open.

Been using KIS 2013 for over a year with no problem. Perhaps downgrade it to 2013? Or if you want a fast internet security use NIS. But from my experience, Norton can't get rid of many viruses, and it gets turned off quite easily.
I haven't tried any other internet securities for a few years so I can't help you anymore than that.

KiS and NiS are total crap, learn to use your computer properly then mse is all you need

The day I tried the NOD32 antivirus, I stopped having to look around for 'better' antivirus/security packages. It was great. The only drawback to NOD32 is that it may take you a little while to get used to where to find all the advanced settings, but it's strong as balls. And who doesn't want an anti-virus that is "strong as balls"?
The actual only noted drawback is that it's so powerful that initially it can cause false positives, though Eset have got much better at their tuning since that last happened (years ago). I haven't had to manually allow a program/connection in so long that I honestly can't remember the year, let alone month. It's a little finicky to deal with if you're used to easy-access UIs and such.

Hi Everybody,
My kaspersky Internet security 2014 subscription is about to end, only a few days left. The last few updates has made my PC slow. I would like to know what Internet securities do you use. What would you guys recommend.
