Poll
I think 'skipping' was referred to the whole list. You can paraphrase it as 'besides sex, eating, etc.'

All seriousness, books and films would probably be the best bet. T.v. shows that you missed are another option.

Sports (doing, not sitting and watching), best thing there is, since it's good for your body and mind and it's awesome, you just have to find the right one for you.

It's impossible to recommend something, without knowing what you like, I for example do something called Tricking, which is Martial Arts acrobatics and also go to the gym, I also did Parkour a few years ago, which is also pretty fun and not that hard to get into.
Martial Arts in general are nice to do, since they're rewarding themselves.

watch TV series (some anime included), watch movies, going out hang out with friends, go to the arcades, play some football (not american), a little social networking to see what friends are posting (found out some nice news this way), do some puzzles on Steamgifts... that's pretty much it :]

I write. Now that summer is getting closer, I usually head down to the river and read or write while i fish and tan. Or take pictures. Im pretty into photography as well.
Maybe try writing a short story or a book? Can be pretty exciting coming up with stories for one.

Oh yeah, good suggestion. I type a lot of short stories on my computer. I'm currently typing a "choose your own story" with a text adventure creator I recently downloaded, and it's great to just pass the time and create your own little world.
Also, you can try composing music on your computer using VSTs. Lots of good free softwares for that online, along with a handful of free VSTs. At first it'll sound like crap, but you'll get used to it and get the hang of things after a while.

Agreed. I'm actually writing three or four books at the time (one of which is set in a fantasy world, while the other two are realistic), as well as some short stories and articles on stuff I like/dislike.
Always wanted to get a VST, although I've never found a free one.

Nice! I like writing fantasy. The world we live in can lack excitement at times, but through reading/writing, you can create your own world, and explore it as you want.
For the VSTs, I can help you with that if you want. All you really need is:
First, a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation), which is basically the software which will make your VST work.
Second, a few VST (Virtual Studio Technology) which will add synthesized instruments to your DAW.
Feel free to add me if you want, and I'll try to help you find what you need to get started. :)

Archery, if you can find a place to do it. It's really fun and rewarding when you finally begin mastering it.
I own a decent bow and used to practice a lot, but I now live in a place where it isn't possible to do it anymore. I still have the bow, but I rarely use it anymore. The only place I can use it, there is a forest right behind where I usually place my target. That means that if I miss, it's more like a game of hide and seek... :P
