I took the time to hide their names for the sake of the "no calling out" rule, but I'm fully aware that it takes just a dash of common sense to figure it out.

The only reason why I made this thread is because the report button is the only way to make our voices heard... but one voice is not enough. If cg won't act immediately these assholes might end up stealing a good stash of honest contributer giveaways and I can't stand it.

While I definitely agree in theory, you CAN give away Minecraft at least (non-Steam game). So there would have to be an exception for at least that game.

They probably didn't even think about it; the same way they didn't think that a group giveaway could be seen in their profiles.

What worries me, however, is that who knows how many other discrete scammers did something similar... perhaps by making private giveaways once a week.

They kind of did, unless cg notices them.

I could only find one member who joined the giveaways you were talking about.

There's nothing really incriminating about it, though. Besides, some of its members seem legit.
