24 actually... but there certainly will be more. Every Humble Bundle game had a linux version and were also available on Steam. As soon as the Linux build for those is added to the Steam library it will provide a much needed increase in the number of available games. And if the platform proves popular enough, more developers will port their titles.

I'm not really into Linux but broading limits and competitiveness is always good.

I already have 14 of the current 24 Linux supported games. 8-)
I think I'm definitely going to be checking out Steam Linux beta.

It is missing on my library - got it finally running on Gentoo Linux :) - probably because I have the screwed up Low Violence Version?

Actually some games are missing from the List like Rochard, Psychonauts, Killing Floor and Limbo.

Btw if you use "a way to use steam w/o beta access" you get only access to steam client. You won't be able to install and play any games. TF2 throws "server overload error" and other games just don't download - they looks like downloaded instantly and when you try launch them it throws "missing executable" error.
(I am fine with that. I wanted steam on linux mainly for chat because i am server administrator and need communicate with people. But if you want try it now to play some games you can't. Wait until you are given official beta access.)

Thanks for the info but other games work to install and play (tried Solar 2 and S.P.A.Z).
Edit: On Rochard I get the error but Frozen Synapse downloads now.
It isn't bad that I can't play some of them, from most games I have the Linux version from HIB.

Cannot second that - I could download and play any games listed on my account.

shame this is the first i'm hearing about the group -- maybe if i'd known and filled out the survey sooner they would have given me beta access! oh well filled it out anyway so will hopefully still be able to get in :)
