You really shouldn't expect anything else as people on this site tend to be more or less sensitive and this characteristic shows whenever something more or less offensive comes on.
I guess someone should test whether someone would still reprove you if you'd said something about slaughter in medieval times or the French revolution. The answer is that they probably wouldn't, but yet you still don't feel free to express your satirical opinion on some cases as this one for example. People just want to feel offended, although none of them have felt the horrors that people back in the time had to feel.
TL:DR Welcome to 2016, where people forcefully get offended just to correct someone on the way he/she/trap bases his statement.

At risk of ending up on your blacklist yet again, I dont agree. This site is famous for witchhunting, and although for the most part I dont think people here are any more easily offended than anywhere else, it does have a sort of hive mind mentality going on. And once that hate train starts rolling, people jump on just for the ride. (in my experience)

For the record I have no issue speaking my mind, I deleted my comment because he deleted his, and without the context it made no sense to have it up just to get people riled up. I wasnt self censoring so much as trying not to draw additional ire on Minedas, as obviously he decided his comment wasnt worth the trouble that would follow.
