I haven't played Don't Starve using a controller but I think it will be hard to manage your inventory

its not, quite easy, actually. the game pauses while you suffle the items. only problem using controller are mods that overuse mouse over functions, that obviously dont work well with a controller.
but the game works quite well with a controller. I actually prefer using a controller on this game with everytihng, save crafting.

I thought I play them with a controller but you are right they dont support it, I dont know what i was thnking. Thats a bummer the trilogy is pretty great. I just recently play bioshock infinite and now i am playing bordelands, those two have controller support.

the only games that i play with controller is PES series, last remnant and final fantasy type 0 :)

From your owned / relatively unplayed:
Jamestown (This one I've played, fun vertical shmup)
They Bleed Pixels (Fun-looking platformer)
Astro Tripper (Fun-looking horizontal shmup of sorts)
BIT.TRIP RUNNER (Easyish-on-the-hands platformy type)
Ultratron (Twin-stick shooter!)
Titan Attacks (Space Invaders with upgrades)
Guacamelee! (Platformer that everyone says is great)
Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack (Enjoyed the crap out of this 2D Katamari-type game on my Vita, about to play it again on Steam)
Street Fighter IV
Rocket League
Saints Row 2
OlliOlli
LUFTRAUSERS
Dead Pixels
Sideway
Got lazy toward the end but the top suggestions are all pretty solid in my mind.
Hope you're back in action soon!

I don't generally play games for the story so I can't really suggest all that much but I don't think I saw these in other comments...
-Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn (MMO, monthly sub, full controller support, has free demo, try it)
-Gauntlet: Slayer Edition (Red warrior needs food badly...)
-Hammerwatch (basically a cheaper version of gauntlet)
-Warhammer: The end times - Vermintide (Left for Dead clone with Warhammer theme)
Xpadder, JoyToKey, and/or other software can be used to emulate mouse/keyboard. I use them for all my games that don't have controller support.

Someone said it already. BUT XCOM!
Most RPGs, you should be fine.

Due to an injury of my right arm, I'm not able to use the mouse. Being right handed, that pretty much means no games that require mouse and keyboard. I've gotten used to using the mouse left handed for browsing, but I'm not good enough to play games left handed. My doctor first told me to rest the arm for a couple of weeks and see if it got better before trying other treatments. The first week I completely stayed off the computer and watched TV, movies and Netflix. I got tired of that though, so I decided to try some games with my XB360 controller and luckily it doesn't hurt to use a controller. For the past few weeks I've only been playing games that have controller support, and I've managed to knocked off quite a few games from my backlog:
I haven't finished Bastion just yet, but I should be finishing it in a day or two. A lot of these games I bought or got in bundles years ago and installed them intending to play them, but they got pushed down the backlog by newer releases. I've been playing the games I already have installed before I install new ones. I'm now down to a couple of installed games that support a controller for me to knock off the backlog. I think they're pretty short though and I'll probably finish them by the end of the week.
I went ahead and pre-ordered a Steam Controller when I realized that it might take a while for my arm to fully heal. The Steam Controller came in last week, earlier than I expected, so now I can get back to some mouse/KB games. After I finish Bastion and the two other games I have installed, I haven't decided what to play next, but I have a few things in mind.
Not long before I hurt my arm, I started a new heavily modded game of Fallout New Vegas. To scratch the Fallout itch until I can get back to New Vegas I was thinking of playing Fallout and Fallout 2 again. I own them from GOG, but I did install Fallout, create a shortcut to run it from Steam, setup the Steam Controller and it works fine. I'm also thinking about newer RPGs that I haven't played yet like the Shadowrun series or Expeditions: Conquistador. The Wasteland 2 Director's Cut and Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition have been released, both now supporting controllers. I played and finished Wasteland 2 before the DC, and I've been wanting to play it again even before the DC was announced. I've started Divinity: Original Sin twice, each time playing coop with a different person, but my coop partners stopped playing after a while and I didn't want to continue the save games without them. I've wanted to go back and play it solo, but sadly it got put on my backlog.
Another game from my backlog short list is Alpha Protocol, which I won here and just haven't gotten around to playing yet. According to the manual it supports an XB360 controller, but with it being an action/RPG I don't know how well I'd do playing it with a controller. I've always used a mouse and keyboard for FPS and TPS games. I tried running through The Stanley Parable to see how I adjusted to using the XB360 controller for first person controls, and I couldn't stand it. It's not that I couldn't do it, I just didn't like it. It just feels, clumsy.
I have a pretty good idea of what I'm going to play next, but I still want to hear suggestions. It doesn't have to be something I listed above, it could be anything that supports an XB360 controller or might work well with the Steam Controller.
