AC2 on mac OX Yosemite crash on launch

Assassins Creed 2 isn't working on OX Yosemite and ubisoft isn't help worth shit..
anyone know how to fix it?

Unluckyly I can't help. Im considering myself to update to Yosemite and things like this (and photos) are preventing me from doing it.

In my own experience it worked on Snow Leopard but not anything newer. The system requirements say it supports ONLY Leopard and Snow Leopard and specifically not Lion, and I can only assume nothing past that either.
