I always love how the biggest customers are the ones that put up with this shit. I know Googly had problems with Steam after he purchased a bunch of gifts. I guess it's just a perfect example of how a few (relatively speaking, anyways) bad people abusing the system ruins it for everyone. :/

It's a hard thing to balance for sure. Yeah they need to be proactive about these things, but at the same time not screwing over good customers is equally important in my eyes. They should at least offer some kind of compensation once you're cleared, especially since they seem to love giving out free money lately.

"We're sorry about this whole mixup, it seems you actually did buy 60 copies of skyrim. So since you like the game so much, we're gonna make it up to you and give you a coupon for that game!"

This is actually quite a decent security measure and should not take too long to clear up or too much hassle. I would very much have appreciated it if the card was indeed stolen, banks tend to do the same thing if purchases seem fishy, so this is not uncommon and moreso a favor Amazon does in buyer's interest.
You can wait a day for games.

Welcome to the club..
"Please, at your earliest convenience, ask your bank to contact us directly so that we may verify the information on your account. Your account and order will remain on hold until we can do so. We will gladly assist you with this order and any other orders on your account as soon as we receive approval from your bank."
I guess i should not have push to buy more when they started adding a 4 hours verification wait time on my orders. Did you get that too Cfriend ?

Wow...looks like I should stop now as I got the 4 hour warning thing and purchased 2 more games for giveaways after that. Gonna hold off on buying keys for a few days as they haven't contacted me to verify my bank account yet.

During X-Mas there were so many bundles, Steam sales and Amazon deals that my Credit Card company disabled my card because I had "so many small purchases in a short period of time".
1 phone call and 2 hours later I could continue the shopping :D

That sucks about not adding the shopping cart as it would have prevented me from hitting the 4 hour delay purchases if they had one in place D:

Account on lockdown pending review. Good lookin' out Amazon, but still :\
Tried again this morning, still getting hung up on confirmation and having to wait for the keys.
Update: Spoke to Chad at customer service, he said to either a) wait 24 hours and try again, or b) if I'm worried about missing the sale, buy as many copies as I want now, they'll all sit on hold and clear eventually. Also, he said he hasn't known of any plans to add an "add to cart" feature to buy multiple copies at once. Sadface.
