It kind of sucks my contributor value keeps decreasing

Why does this work like this? Yesterday I was sitting at 106 us dollars now it's 83....

Very demotivating. Makes me wanna not do any more giveaways....

If the regular price of a game is reduced in the Steam store(Permanently, not via a sale), than your contribution will drop as well.

For example, DOOM II was originally $9.99 but was then reduced to $4.99, so if you've given this away then your contribution will drop by $5.

I just hate when you have for example: $49.91 contributor (previously was around $56) and the created giveaway contrib is $50.00... suggest they should are least round the contributors value up/down to the nearest $5 or at least dollar?

relax, make people happy by creating giveaways if you want to, enter giveaways and that's it
